We sold in anice area, some houses were for sale and the cheapest was for $3 million!! Can you believe that!?!?! I loved being with Jared all day, and to just be able to talk and be together! And it was fun to see all the elaborate way rich houses! But the selling part of it.... not so fun. => I have a new found appreciation for Jared and how hard he works for our family. I knew it was hard, and I knew the gist of it, but experiencing it first hand, just completely opened my eyes! All they do, from practically sun up to sun down, is walk, alone, thru strange neighborhoods. Even being with Jared, we got bored and discouraged! I cant imagine what its like by yourself for that whole time!

Hazards of Working at a Pest Control Company
Yeah, needless to say, my eyes started to deffinately water! There was only me and the permanate secretary there, but we just started cracking up!! So I am laughing so hard I can hardly breathe, crying lots so my shirt is wet, and my thumb is throbbing and already like twice its size!! Oh but even thinking about it now I am laughing!! We didnt have any ice at the office, and there were only two of us so we couldnt leave to go get some, so I filled up a water bottle with cold water from that sparklers jug thing, and stuck my thumb in water! => Later that night I went to the temple, and it was interesting changing clothes with my thumb hurting that bad! But luckily the swelling has gone down a TON today! It is almost back to normal size! And it still does hurt, but its good enough to function somewhat normally. (Have you ever tried typing without your thumb? Its kindof tricky) =>
So thats my little pest control office adventure! Oh and this is that happened to that poor little pen I demonstrated the devils rat trap with. The picture is not so clear, but this pen was torn up! It had chunks missing and cracks everywhere!Moral of the story, dont work at a pest control company! And if you must, Never touch the rat traps!! They aim to kill!!! =>

Missionary Opportunity At Work
As far as I can remember I haven't talked to a non member about my religion just in a daily setting. Sure there have been some that come into institute, but those were always with the missionaries. But today, I was able to have the wonderful opportunity to talk to a lady I work with about my amazing religion! She actually brought it up!! Which is so cool to me! She asked me if we "Mormons" believed in only half the bible, because that's what she had heard, that Mormons only believe the parts of the bible when Christ was alive. So I had the opportunity to explain that we believe in the whole bible, Old and New testaments, because God is always in peoples lives, even if its not physically. Then she started asking about the Book of Mormon. She had heard it was a continuation of the Bible. I was able to tell her and get her to understand that God talks to all His children, and that the Book of Mormon wasn't a continuation of the Bible, but something that goes hand in hand with it. How it covers basically the same time frame, just on a different continent. And we even started talking about her beliefs in a "higher power" but she wast sure if it was a god.
It was a non-challant conversation that basically was turned on and off by interruptions at work. And even though it probably will not change her life drastically, and it wasn't an in depth testimony bearing, first discussion giving event, at least I was able to clear some things up about our religion. And most importantly it changed my outlook on missionary work drastically! I was not nervous for what she would think about me, I was not scared to talk about what I believed, I was not afraid to voice what I believe in! I even realized, I LOVE sharing my religion! I want to talk about it all the time, to anyone who will listen!! I have this new found fire, that scorched my fear of speaking out, and is burning to tell everyone the joyful news of the gospel!! And I am so excited for my two cousins who are leaving on their missions! They are going to be wonderful, and get to feel this way every day!! I am going to strive to more fully fulfill the phrase "every member a missionary" I LOVE my church! I LOVE the standards I get to uphold! I LOVE the gospel and all the blessings it can and does bring to peoples lives!! I know this church is the true church, and I want everyone to have a chance to know!!!

Hair Dying Day
Needless to say, it was a fun adventure but the results did not turn out so hot. => Julie dyed her hair dark brown to cover the mishap, and Danae ended up liking the strazberry streaks, but wanted me to highlight blond in there too, so we did that again tonight (with different bleach & real hair foil), so I am excited to see how it turned out! I am sure I will post pictures of all our new, fixed hair when its ready! But this was a little fun adventure to have. A fun way to occupy our long lonley days! =>
